Working as part of the HR Team you will have real opportunity to influence the HR strategy, supporting the Vice Principal Human Resources and Organisational Development, in its implementation. This position will give you the opportunity to use your previous experience to ensure the people agenda is aligned to business objectives, supporting the College to attract, develop, retain and engage a talented and inclusive workforce. Your will provide effective leadership to the HR Business Partners and Operational HR Team, ensuring the provision of a high quality HR and Organisational Development service to the College. Your knowledge of up to date employment law and HR best practice, along with experience in managing a diverse range of employee relations issues, will be key in supporting development of the HR team and wider College group.

You may currently be working in a construction setting looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. Electrical Workshop Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for an Electrical Workshop Supervisor to join the team based in Coalville. Working in this role you will support the delivery of teaching and learning within the Electrical workshop environment, ensuring that resources, supplies, tools and equipment, are effectively and safely managed and maintained. You may currently be working in a construction setting looking and looking to progress into a career in teaching. You will support a wide range of Construction students to develop and deliver their skills to ensure they are successful on their chosen programmes. You will have an aptitude for accuracy, be able to maintain our superb workshop facilities and contribute to the continued improvement of the Construction programmes to achieve the best outcomes for students and stakeholders. By joining this successful team you can expect to make an immediate impact on the programmes with your positive, enthusiastic approach to the construction provision within a successful faculty that has a commitment to professional development and rewarding achievement through opportunities to progress within the college. You will also be willing to obtain a relevant assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
